I've lost about five pounds since my last Fitness Friday which puts me 15 pounds away from my first goal/pre-pregnancy weight. I'd still like to lose about 10 pounds after that, so I'm about 25 pounds away from the finish line.
I keep feeling hopeless and defeated even though I'm seeing huge changes in my body and it hasn't even been three months since Bowie was born. I've lost almost 50 pounds in less than three months! That's A LOT of weight. I guess it's just hard because I had worked so hard to lose those 100 pounds after Clementine was born and I was finally in a place of comfort in my own skin, something I hadn't felt since middle school.
Since one week postpartum I've lost almost 50 pounds. As of two weeks ago I've lost 4 inches in my bust, 6 inches in my waist, and 3 inches in my hips. I'll be doing a new set of after pictures plus measurements on the 11th and I'm really looking forward to it. I hope that I'll soon feel comfortable enough to start posting my progress pictures here. They give me such a huge push to keep going, and I hope they help to inspire other people as well.

ReplyDeleteYou're doing so great!! I'm sure it must be hugely frustrating to have finally been in a place where you were comfortable and now have to get back there all over again, but you can absolutely do it. :)
