Sunday Obsessions

All of the cool kids do Things I Love Thursday, but I never know if I'm going to have time to blog on week days so I'm starting Sunday Obsessions!
Inspired by:

So here's some things I've been obsessing over this week...

I love s'mores. I love martinis. I think it would be pretty safe to say that a S'mores Martini would be right up my alley!

THE S'MORES MARTINI

1 oz. chocolate vodka
1 oz. Baily's Irish Cream
1 oz. chocolate liquor
1 oz. Cream de Cacao
1 oz. vanilla vodka
2 oz. heavy cream
Toasted marshmallows, graham crackers (crushed), chocolate syrup, bamboo Martini skewers.

Dip the rim of glasses into the chocolate syrup, then into the crushed crackers. Chill glasses in freezer.
Pour all remaining ingredients, except marshmallows, into a Martini shaker filled with ice, and shake until well blended.  Pour into really nice glasses.  Skewer the toasted marshmallows on the bamboo skewers, place across the rim and serve..for about 2 servings.

Star Lights made from manila envelopes
Boz and I have Christmas lights hanging all over our house, and I've always wanted to fancy them up a bit. These are so beautiful and so simple to make. I bet Clementine would love to help me craft these.

Chunky glitter polish! My favorite. I wish I knew what polish was used for this pictures because it's AMAZING! If any of you know please link me in the comments so I can hunt some down.

House of Holland F/W 2011 granny squares!
I saw the bottom photo of Marina in the granny square dress and died a little. It's just so perfect and I want one SO bad. Every crafty hooker should have one.

  5. Okay so it's not the exact polish but Gems by Milani is really similar. You have to do a lot of coats because the glitter doesn't go on super thick at first but you can totally do those nails with it.

  6. Not an exact match (the nail polish you posted is SO CUTE) but OPI Muppets collection "Rainbow Connection" has some chunky glitter. I just bought some off ebay. I'll put it on me toes and take pics!

  7. I love this idea, I used to do a "Loves" section in my blogger posts, I think I may start doing an "obsessions" section with pix and everything now! <3 Thanks for the inspiration!
Ps, you did a post about a silver glitter polish like "Party of Five Glitters", what was the polish name/brand again? Sorry, I am spacing!

  8. For the glitter nail polish, I have some like that that I got from CVS for cheap. It's held for over three months on my toes.

  9. @Miranda YES! Party Of Five Glitter by Wet n Wild! It's amazing!

  10. I'd say it was Deborah Lipmann's Birthday. It's ridiculously overpriced, O.P.I's Rainbow Connection seems to be a pretty good dupe.

  11. I'm seconding Gems by Milani as awesome chunky glitter polish. It's awesome and looks great over any color and 2 or 3 coats of it would absolutely get the effect you want in that last picture. Plus I picked it up at Target for like $5!

  12. None of the polishes mentioned are really like the one in the photo. They're chunky but they also all have smaller glitter in them (I have Gems and it IS awesome). I wish I could tell you what the polish actually is because I LOVE chunky glitters too!
