I'm up every two hours during the night feeding little Bowie man, and it gets pretty lonely just sitting there in the dark by myself, so I've been keeping myself busy by making little wishlists online.

Last night I was on Lulus.com

I try to make my wishlists somewhat reasonable, not just listing everything I love on each site but what I would actually buy if I was able.

So the very first thing I saw when I opened lulus was this dress:

it's pretty much everything I look for in a dress. Fitted in the bust, flowy in the skirt, and I adore the color combination. LOVE IT!

This ring! My sister-in-law Kiki and I were desperately looking for geode rings while shopping in mexico on my Disney wedding cruise, but couldn't find anything we loved. This is pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

There are few things I love more than wearable sparkles! This dress! I die. I love that it has half sleeves because even when I'm at a normal ~I-didn't-just-have-a-baby-three-weeks-ago~ weight I feel most comfortable with my upper arms covered. I own WAY too many (but still not enough) cardigans because of this.

THESE SHOES! 

ohmygod, I can't even handle these. I need them in my life. They're Jeffrey Campbell, and my feet trust Jeffrey. LUST.

That's it! 

There's a ton more stuff that I adore on that site, but if I were actually able to shop right now these are the things I would want.

Our Weekend in Pictures!

We had a wonderful weekend! 

Tom and Kiki came up and got to meet baby Bowie man for the first time! Clementine was so excited to see them, and so was I! I wish we lived closer so we could spend more time together. I'm so lucky to be related to my two best friends. 

Bowie is a lucky little man to have such awesome godparents!

They brought us a whole bag full of amazing onesies, shirts and jammies for him but I forgot to take a picture of everything. So much adorable stuff though. 

Kiki brought her giant typewriter with her since she had a craft fair to go to (she uses it to display her treasures) and Clementine was obsessed. She wouldn't leave it alone.

The next day we all headed over to my Mom and Dads house to eat some tacos and catch up on our trueblood!

Bowie man slept pretty much the whole time.

Sunday was the birthday party of one of my very best friends daughters.
I was having a hard time finding clothes that I felt comfortable in, and I had a mini melt down over it. To help myself feel fresh and pretty I colored my hair and bought myself a new set of false eyelashes.

right before it was time to go I remembered this dress, and it fit PERFECT! I felt amazing in it :3

I woke up feeling pretty good so I decided against taking my morning pain pill so I wouldn't be too loopy for the party. Big mistake. About five minutes after Boz dropped me and the kids off I felt like my c-section was going to split open. I almost called him to come back for me, but I really wanted to see my friends.

We've been having a nice week hanging out here at the house getting used to having two nuggets to love on instead of just one. Clementine is so in love with her baby brother. I was so worried that this would be hard on her but she seems to be really into the whole thing, which makes me so happy.

I made a few baby hats last night while we were watching old X-Men cartoons with Tom & Kiki.
We're all having a lot of fun together. More pictures later.

Seven Eleven Eleven

7-11-2011

The numbers 7 & 11 have always been really lucky in our house.

I was born at 7:11pm
my Mom was born at 11:07am
my parents were re married on 11-07
Bowie was born on 7-4-11 at 11pm!

My Mom called me early 7-11-2011 to see if I wanted to walk to 7-Eleven with her and the nuggets for free slurpeeday. YES!

they had both of our favorite flavors! She likes coke, and I like pina colada!

Then we walked the kids down to the park. It was a really nice day out, actually the last week has been really nice. It's not to hot, but still totally sunny out. My ideal summer weather :3

My brother and his beautiful wife Kiki are coming up to visit this weekend! They get to meet little Bowie man for the first time, and give Miss Clementine some much needed aunt and uncle loving.
