Fitness Friday (week 7)

I've lost about five pounds since my last Fitness Friday which puts me 15 pounds away from my first goal/pre-pregnancy weight. I'd still like to lose about 10 pounds after that, so I'm about 25 pounds away from the finish line.

I keep feeling hopeless and defeated even though I'm seeing huge changes in my body and it hasn't even been three months since Bowie was born. I've lost almost 50 pounds in less than three months! That's A LOT of weight. I guess it's just hard because I had worked so hard to lose those 100 pounds after Clementine was born and I was finally in a place of comfort in my own skin, something I hadn't felt since middle school. 

Since one week postpartum I've lost almost 50 pounds. As of two weeks ago I've lost 4 inches in my bust, 6 inches in my waist, and 3 inches in my hips. I'll be doing a new set of after pictures plus measurements on the 11th and I'm really looking forward to it. I hope that I'll soon feel comfortable enough to start posting my progress pictures here. They give me such a huge push to keep going, and I hope they help to inspire other people as well.

Monday was the birthday of one of my very best friends, so me and my ladies all got together and drove out to San Francisco for some karaoke and cocktails!

I had Boz drop me off at Shannon (birthday girls)'s work around 6pm where I met one of my oldest friends Pitty. We've know each other since I first moved to this town in forth grade. She was the first friend I made when I moved here and we've been friends ever since.

Over the weekend I made Shannon two bow bands, a poison apple necklace, and this card:

I posted a picture of that necklace on tumblr and got a TON of messages from people asking me to make some for my shop, so the next time I have a break in bow making I'm going to list a few and see how the do.

The bar had a PB&J special where you get a Pabst Blue Ribbon + a shot of anything that starts with a J for $6. Cutest drink special ever.

We made friends with a boy who was sitting next to us and kidnapped him, taking him with us to the second location.

Our next stop was a thai food restaurant where each group of people get their own curtained off room and KARAOKE SET UP!!!

Whenever we had to go to the bathroom we had to pass through the room next door to us where there were these two older men singing and they ALWAYS HAD THE BEST SONGS! I got jealous every time I heard them singing something new, so at the end of the night I told them it was my friends birthday and asked if they could put a song on our list and surprise her with it. They were happy to oblige and they burst into the room singing "Build me up buttercup" to Shannon, and it was amazing.
