Beauty and the Beast, Candy, 1920's Murder Mystery

Clementine says this is a picture of all her favorite things except daddy is missing
Quick update on what we've been up to lately!
Last weekend my mom and I took Clementine to see Beauty and the Beast in 3D

Clementine wore the Belle dress that Boz and I bought her on our Disney wedding cruise. The first time she ever wore this dress she got sick and threw up (all over me) and to this day whenever she sees it she says "My Belle dress! I spilled :(" and it breaks my heart.

I know this picture is blurry and should probably have been deleted, but how good does my body look here? I try to avoid full body pictures because I'm so insecure, but seeing this made me feel really good. I actually saved it to my feel good folder on my desk top so I can look at it when I'm being hard on myself.

so excited!

All the kids got these super cute beauty and the beast 3D glasses.

The next day we took the kids to a specialty candy store so Clementine could fill up her little pink candy house that my friend Taylor ( http://majorstranger.blogspot.com/ ) sent us

since there were five of us, I had to squeeze my butt in between the kids car seats in back.

squished!

I bought these cat glasses while we were there:

This weekend Boz and I wen to a 1920's murder mystery party

we called ourselves Pinky Noir and Jack "the brain" Dawson
We stumped the host with our blood splatter analysis questions.
it was a lot of fun.

  1. You look gorgeous, mama! And I'm impressed that Bowie-buns still fits in his infant seat! I'm jealous, haha! You guys look awesome in your 20's garb. I have an amazing cloche hat that I need to wear!

    1. THANKS MAMA! Bowie is right at the limit for his baby seat! We're just waiting for our new seat to get here.

We didn't have time to put proper costumes together so we just pulled all of this stuff from our closets an hour before we had to leave! I'm surprised by how good they came out.

    1. Everyone kept telling us that she was too young to be going to Disneyland, and that she'd never remember it, but she seriously talks about it EVERY DAY! I can't wait for Bowie to get a little bigger so we can go again. :3

    1. it's REALLY good! My Mom and I kept whispering over Clementine together about how beautiful it was. I cried during the dance. But the best part is the 3D tangled wedding short at the beginning! SO funny!

    1. I'm kind of bummed that my brows aren't super thick naturally. Even when I used to pluck them I only plucked one or two stray hairs. I've got that natural Burghardt sad brow. You know what I'm talking about.

    1. YOU ARE THE PRETTIEST! And the fact that you just described my hair as "long" made me love you for life! I'm still growing out my short hair and I'm so stoked on it being past my shoulders again. I love short hair, but I personally can't survive unless my hair is long enough to pile it all on the top of my head without a billion pins and clips.

I just did lazy finger waves all over with a big crimping iron, and two pin curls in the front where my bangs are. I also clipped a copper butterfly to my part, but it's hard to see.
