Boz and I were just farting around the house last weekend, playing with the kids, organizing things, avoiding the heat, when he was like "Let's go to Aubergine." and I was like :D!!!

Aubergine is our local vintage emporium, and I have found some of my most treasured items there.

Here's some of the things I loved:

it's hard to see in these pictures, but this top was actually the most amazing mint color. SO cute.

This skirt ohmygod. I almost bought it, but I realized I would just be hoarding it and it would be better left for someone who would get proper use out of it. It's print is tennis players and sail boats. So amaze.

this dress. so pretty with its watercolor flowers and super low back. It was just a touch too big for me though.

cropped smiley face thermal. I have a feeling there are a few people on tumblr who could have made this work.  

Clementine's favorite thing about Aubergine is the hats. 
I'm kind of wishing I had bought this Cruella De Vil mod dress. 

I ended up leaving with these three bandanas
conversation hearts, polka dots, and stars. 

After Aubergine we went to target

I got this purple cardigan and these shorts that I was kind of worried I was only buying because they're a size SIX and that's super exciting for me on my weight loss journey, but I've been wearing them pretty much everyday since. SO comfortable. 

I also got this polka dot coat on the clearance rack for half off!

Hi guys! Hope you're all having a great Monday! It's raining over here so the kids and I are going a little stir crazy. Clementine and I started a new 9 week program with EA Sports Active 2 for wii today! I've lost 70 lbs so far playing on easy, so we bumped it up to medium this time. I'm super excited about it!

first was kind of a splurge for me:

I kept seeing picture of girls on tumblr wearing these pants, and I kept pinning them to pinterest and visiting them on the topshop site HOPING they would go on sale. Then one day I went to visit them and every size was sold out except for mine. 

I had to do it.

funny story about my next purchase: 

I was staying at my mom & dads for the weekend and I was having trouble sleeping one night so my dad gave me one of his sleeping pills... I woke up the next day with a order confirmation from urbanoutfitters and I have NO MEMORY of buying these things

the shoes were on sale, so at least I'm thrifty when I sleep shop :3

last but certainly not least

I've been taking the kids to the pool a lot lately, and since I'm still pretty insecure about my post pregnancy belly I've been looking around for a cute one-piece. After my amazing luck with ebay when I bought my Doc Martens I decided to poke around and see what I could find last night and ended up buying this:

originally sold for $158 and I was able to find it NEW on ebay for $66
